Hello, I am using Nasca to design photonic waveguides, and I am a beginner at this software. Currently, I am trying to form 1×8 splitters with y-branch structures by using the Nazca. However, I could not do it. Could you please assist me to design this splitter? I am looking forward to hearing from you soon. Thank you in advance.

    Regards,

    Rasel

    Hi Rasel,

There is an example in ‘Nazca – Getting Started’ on how to create a layout of an 1×8 splitter.
    Check out: https://nazca-design.org/manual/getting_started.html
and scroll down to ‘6. Creating a parameterized building block’.

    Regards,
    Katarzyna

    Dear Mr. Katarzyna,

Thank you so much for your feedback. I have checked the layout of a 1X8 splitter realized with MMI building blocks. However, I am trying to develop a 1×8 splitter realized with bend structures only, not any MMI inclusion. Could you please assist me to develop this type of 1×8 splitter? Thank you.

    Regards,

    Rasel
